There are hundred's of motor bikes, locally called Xe om, drivers that are waiting at any corner to ride you to your destination, Sleeping bus, good buses and Train's are available for traveling through Vietam, night trains of Hanoi - Hue, Hanoi Lao cai (Sapa) and other destinations are very popular. however, if you take a Xe om then consider to agree the fare before riding, according to distance. Drivers will probably say a price that is twice or so higher than the actual fare, so how much you pay is all depend on your bargain skill, Xe om should cost around 15,000 to 50,000 VND depending on where you are going.There are also several daily flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi to Danang, Nha Trang and vice-versa

Vietnamese Street Foods are cheap, delicious but it may be different from what you eat in home for sure, your journey to Vietnam cant be completed without trying different street foods, either on Vietnam Tours or traveling solo!

A day Trip to Halong Bay by Joining grops cost around 50 $, i strongly advice you to get any Vietnam Package Tours that includes a day trip to Halong bay, traveling alone to Halong bay may cost sometimes as double as possible.

Overall Cost of Travel in Vietnam
Vietnam is very beautiful country to Travel around, its chilled out that if you would like to follow in the lifestyle and just chill out, it’s possible to do it for around $15 per day (or even less if you are more experienced than me) . I spent about 250.000 to 300.000 per day, seeing plenty of things and enjoyed my time in Vietnam.
